AT A GLANCE
The Texans will compete in their seventh and eighth conference matchups of the season as they host the Utah Valley Wolverines. The matches are slated for Friday Feb. 19 at 5 p.m. CT and Saturday Feb. 20 at 11 a.m. CT. This is the first time in program history these two schools are meeting.
 
MATCH COVERAGE
Both matches will be broadcast on the WAC Digital Network. Links for live stats can be found on the volleyball schedule at TarletonSports.com.
 
ATTENDING THE MATCH
At this time, capacity is limited to a maximum of 50 percent inside the Wisdom Volleyball Gym, per Governor Abbott's Executive Order No. GA-28. Due to the WAC's COVID-19 policy, the seating areas must be at least 12 feet from playing surface.
 
There will be no general admission tickets sold for home volleyball games this season. Only Tarleton students, Texan Club passes and Tarleton and visitor team complimentary tickets will be allowed in the Wisdom Volleyball Gym. The Wisdom Gym ticket office will only open on game day for will call and complimentary ticket pickup. The Wisdom Gym will call ticket window will open one hour before the start of each match.

INSIDE THE SERIES: UTAH VALLEY
Tarleton and Utah Valley are meeting for the first time in program history.
 
LAST TIME OUT: SEATTLE U
The Texans won their first WAC games of the season, defeating Seattle U in five sets in match one followed by a sweep of the Redhawks in match two.
 
Lauren Kersey had a team high 27 kills for the series, bringing her total to 74 on the season. Hali'a Swartman-Hogan and Amber Strange also proved to be dominant in kills while Kayla Brannon and Melina Maldonado continue to pace the Texans offense in assists.
 
Ana Costas had another big game in digs earning her the TicketSmarter WAC Defensive Player of the Week. She leads all of the WAC in digs with 186 and recorded 26 and 27 digs, respectively in the last two matches against Seattle U.
 
UP NEXT
The Texans will travel to Prairie View, Texas to compete against Prairie View A&M Wednesday Feb. 24 in the William Nicks Building. Wednesday's match in Prairie View is slated for 5:30 p.m. CT.
