STEPHENVILLE, Texas – The first chance for fans to be involved with Tarleton's men's golf program in almost 30 years is approaching. The Texans announced Monday details surrounding their inaugural fundraiser tournament.
 
The Tarleton Men's Golf Fundraiser Tournament will commence on Friday, Sept. 9, at Harbor Lakes Golf Club in Granbury, Texas. It will be a four-person scramble, with an 8:30 a.m. shotgun start. Check-in will begin at 7:30 a.m.
 
It is $600 per team to participate, or $150 per player. Those who sign up individually will be grouped together to form four-person teams. Tee gifts, breakfast and lunch will be provided.
 
Team entry is included for $1,000 hole sponsors, otherwise it is $500 to sponsor a hole.
 
All proceeds from the event, presented by Texan 18, will benefit the Tarleton men's golf program, back in action for the first time since 1994-95.
