ABILENE, Texas – Tarleton State Track & Field competed in the Oliver Jackson Twilight on Thursday.
Three Texans finished in the top five for the high jump competition.
Jordan Rae took first place with a jump of 1.71m.
Rylee Hennig tied for third place with a jump of 1.68m, while
Gentrye Munden took fifth place with a jump of 1.63m.
Reid Vincent and
Aidan Matthews both finished in the top seven in the 100m dash. Vincent took fifth with a time of 10.46 seconds, while Matthews took seventh with a time of 10.53 seconds. Matthews also took third place in the 200m with a time of 21.33 seconds.
Caterrin Cox took third place in the 110m hurdles with a time of 14.36 seconds. That is fifth fastest time record in the WAC this season.
Rese Schoonover took second place in the 400m hurdles with a time of 1:00.41. That time is currently the fastest enough to be the fifth fastest time in the WAC.
Elise Smith won the javelin throw with a toss of 41.64m.
Brady Sisneroz took second place in the 400m hurdles with a time of 53.99 seconds.
Gabriele Tosti finished in first place with a jump of 15.40m in the triple jump.
