TEXAN MEN'S BASKETBALL continues to be the host for The CollegeInsider.com Postseason Tournament, presented by BSN SPORTS. This time, it will be for a shot in the finals against Purdue Fort Wayne at 6 p.m. Monday evening. If the Texans win, it is likely they will host Norfolk State Wednesday evening for the CIT Championship, as Norfolk State won their semifinal matchup last Saturday. The Texans ran through both Texas Southern and WAC foe Abilene Christian last week to make it to this point in the postseason, earning themselves the title of Lou Henson Classic Champions. KiAndre Gaddy was also named the MVP of the Lou Henson Classic for his dominant performances in those two games. General admission tickets to the CIT are on sale now, as one-day passes for each round are $15 and for two-day passes that give access to all three games, tickets are $25. All Tarleton State students, faculty and staff receive free entry, but need to claim tickets.

TEXAN TENNIS won their first WAC matchups of the 2024 season on the road, beating both UTRGV and UT Arlington. This was the Texans' first victory over the Mavericks since joining the NCAA Division I rank. Although the Texans will be back in Stephenville to host a couple matches, they will not be played at their typical spot. Thursday will be the grand opening of the new Tarleton State Tennis facility, with a ribbon cutting ceremony set for 10:30 a.m. They will continue conference play against Utah Tech when the ribbon cutting ceremony concludes and begin doubles action at 11 a.m. There will be a variety of giveaways for such a special milestone in Tarleton State Tennis history, such as Texan Tennis themed koozies and bottle openers. They will round out their week against Seattle U at 10 a.m. on Saturday in Stephenville. Their next home match is set for Apr. 5 against Stephen F. Austin.

TARLETON STATE SOFTBALL comes off an exciting 2-1 series win over UT Arlington and hopes to continue their success in a doubleheader against Abilene Christian on Tuesday. Game one of the doubleheader is scheduled for 4 p.m. There will be Texan themed umbrellas given away to early arriving fans that day, hopefully to help block fans from the sunshine and not rain that afternoon. The Texans will continue conference play at California Baptist, with the start of their three-game series beginning Friday at 6 p.m. for a doubleheader. The final game of that series will be Saturday at 6 p.m. Their next home games will come in a doubleheader against Texas Southern on Apr. 9.

TEXAN MEN'S GOLF is back in action after a few weeks off and will compete in The Big Texan in Kerrville, Texas, on Monday and Tuesday. The Texans travel to Austin for a three-day stint to compete in the Texas Relays this Thursday through Saturday. Their next competition will begin Apr. 3 in San Angelo at the David Noble Relays.
