STEPHENVILLE, Texas – In addition to hosting a top-tier opponent in Kansas State, Tarleton State Women's Basketball will open the EECU Center on Monday at 7 p.m. with a top-tier halftime performance in Xpogo.
Xpogo, the world's top extreme pogo entertainment team, has been featured on America's Got Talent, ESPN, and NBA All-Star Weekend. The stunt team holds a collective 19 Guinness World Records and has over 1,300 performances in 26 countries.
The best pogo athletes in the world are scheduled to perform at the EECU Center after the first 20 minutes of Tarleton State's matchup with K-State. Xpogo is pogo sticking like you've never seen it before, with athletes riding high powered pogo sticks launching them 10 feet in the air to perform tricks and flips.
K-State, a 2025 Sweet 16 team, will be the highest nationally-ranked team to play at Tarleton State. The Wildcats are currently ranked No. 25 in the Coaches Top 25 Preseason Poll and receiving votes in the Associated Press Poll. The Big 12 foe is the first women's basketball team from a Power 4 conference to visit Stephenville.
The exhibition game sponsored by Barefoot Campus Outfitter is the first meeting between the two schools in program history.

The Texans, who clinched their first-ever Division I postseason bid last year, will play its first season in the EECU Center. Finishing second in the WAC, Tarleton State received an automatic bid to the WNIT and played its first-ever Division I postseason game at Wisdom Gym on March 23, 2025. Led by 2025 All-WAC guard Jakoriah Long, the Texans return three letterwinners from last year's squad and welcome 11 newcomers.
Under three-time national champion from Baylor, Bill Brock, the Texans have turned into a top program in the WAC. The Texans went from last place to seventh in his first season at the helm, winning a Division I Era program record 20 wins in the 2024-25 season for a second-place finish.
In Brock's second season leading the Texans in 2024-25, Tarleton State accomplished several program firsts in its Division I Era. Establishing a winning culture, the Purple and White posted the longest win streak in the Division I Era and the most home wins since 2018-19 with 13 last year.
