The Texans' 15-game home slate at the EECU Center begins Monday, Oct. 27 against K-State in an exhibition contest. Tarleton State will play a pair of 2025 NCAA Tournament teams and four other opponents at home in non-conference play before its Western Athletic Conference slate.

Tarleton State will play its first home game in the EECU Center against Kansas State on Oct. 27 at 7 p.m. K-State, a 2025 Sweet 16 team that finished ranked No. 13 in the final Associated Press Top 25 poll last season, is the highest nationally-ranked team to play in Stephenville. The Wildcats are the first women's basketball team from a Power 4 conference to visit Tarleton State. The exhibition game sponsored by Barefoot Campus Outfitter is the first meeting between the two schools in program history.

The Texans, who finished with a Division I program record 20 wins en route to its first-ever Division I postseason bid last year, will play its first season in the EECU Center. Finishing second in the WAC, Tarleton State received an automatic bid to the WNIT and played its first-ever Division I postseason game at Wisdom Gym on March 23, 2025. Led by 2025 All-WAC guard Jakoriah Long, the Texans return three letterwinners from last year's squad and welcome 11 newcomers.

Led by three-time national champion from Baylor, Bill Brock, the Texans have turned into a top program in the WAC. The Texans went from last place to seventh in his first season at the helm, winning a Division I Era program record 20 wins in the 2024-25 season for a second-place finish.

In Brock's second season leading the Texans in 2024-25, Tarleton State accomplished several program firsts in its Division I Era. Establishing a winning culture, the Purple and White posted the longest win streak in the Division I Era and the most home wins since 2018-19 with 13 last year.

Each home game at the EECU Center will feature a promotion that will be announced at a later date.
