WEEK AT A GLANCE: Texan Baseball hosts Kansas State and SFA, Women’s Basketball clinches first ever D1 postseason berth in WNIT

Texan Baseball highlights the action in Stephenville this week, while Women's Basketball has a chance to bring postseason play to Wisdom Gym.

TEXAN BASEBALL is back in Stephenville, opening their week against Kansas State on Wednesday at 6 p.m. This will be the fourth Power Four opponent the Texans have faced this season and their second at home. They remain at home this weekend, as they host former conference rival, SFA, in a three-game series starting Friday at 6 p.m. There will be mini Texan baseball helmets given away to early arriving fans at this game. The series will continue on Saturday at 3 p.m. and wrap up Sunday at 1 p.m. The Texans will be back on the road next, travelling to Texas Tech March 25. Their next home series will be March 28-30 to begin conference play against Sacramento State.

TEXAN WOMEN'S BASKETBALL has earned a first round bye in the 2025 Women's National Invitational Tournament and will play either Lindenwood or Tulsa in its first-ever Division I postseason tournament. The Texans will potentially host its second round game in Wisdom Gym any day between March 23-25. Tip time, location, and date for the second round games are to be determined.

TEXAN SOFTBALL is on the road all week, starting at Prairie View A&M for a single midweek matchup. Their game is slated for Tuesday at 1 p.m. The Texans then head to Grand Canyon to continue conference play, with the three-game series beginning Friday at 6:30 p.m. for game one of their doubleheader that evening. They will wrap up the series at 3 p.m. on Saturday. Their next matchup will be at home when they host Seattle U March 28 in a doubleheader for Military Appreciation Night.

TEXAN TRACK & FIELD finished their indoor season on a high note, leaving the NCAA Indoor National Championships with four All-American student-athletes named at Virginia Beach. The Texans quickly turn to their outdoor season, as it begins in Waco on Saturday at the Clyde Hart Invitational. This will only be a one-day event, as their next competition will be in Austin March 27-29 at the Texas Relays.

TEXAN TENNIS begins a four-match road stretch this week, beginning Monday at SFA at 11 a.m. The Texans have a quick turnaround when they travel to McNeese the following day at 1 p.m. to take on the Cowgirls. They have a decent break after this, as their next competition won't be until March 29 at North Texas. Their next home match will be April 4 when they host GCU for Greek Day, with Texan branded seat cushions given out to early arriving fans.
