Quick Points:

•    Tarleton State hosted the Texan Classic, where they finished 2-1 

•    Tarleton State faced UAPB, LA Tech, and UNT. The Texans swept 3-0 both UAPB and LA Tech.

•    LaNeah Lara posted a career-high 16 kills against UAPB. The junior outside hitter leads the Texans in kills with 115 kills total.

•    Morgan Carter and Alyssa Dinh were selected for the Texan Classic All-Tournament team. Carter totaled 46 kills over the weekend and Dinh totaled 15 kills and nine blocks.

•    Morgan Carter has established herself in the libero role for the Texans. Leading the Texan defense, she posted 25 digs, her season high, in their match against Louisiana. 

•    Victoria Fontenot leads the serve game for the Texans with 14 service aces. 

•    Emma Burke totaled 7 blocks over the weekend at the Islander Classic, leading the team for the weekend and overall. She currently leads the team in total blocks with 50 blocks. She also posted 17 kills over the weekend

•    First-year head coach Jazymne Johnson collected her first collegiate win with a sweep in the season opener. She is one of 25 first-year head coaches in the nation this season and one of 11 to record a winning record in the first weekend.

•    Emma Burke set new D1 Era record for hitting percentage in Tarleton State's match against LA Tech  She hit a .846. The previous record was a .783.
