ARLINGTON, Texas – The 2026 Tarleton State Football season is nearly here, and the unofficial beginning will commence Tuesday in Arlington, Texas, at Texas Live!

Danny Joiner will represent Tarleton State's appearance at the UAC Football Kickoff Media Day, which
will be broadcast live on ESPN+.
The whole event will run from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., and it is open to the public to attend, with doors opening at 10 a.m. Tarleton State's time on the stage is scheduled for 12:46-12:56 p.m.

Byron Anderson will lead the broadcast and interview all eight teams in attendance. They'll begin the show at 11 a.m. with the announcement of the 2026 Preseason UAC Poll and All-Conference team, followed by interviews with North Alabama (11:10-11:20 a.m.), Eastern Kentucky (11:22-11:32 a.m.), Central Arkansas (11:34-11:44 a.m.), West Florida (11:46-11:56 a.m.), Austin Peay (12:10-12:20 p.m.), West Georgia (12:22-12:32 p.m.), Abilene Christian (12:34-12:44 p.m.) and Tarleton State (12:46-12:56 p.m.). CEO of Unisun Sports Jeff Bacon will interview in the middle of the show from 12-12:08 p.m.
