STEPHENVILLE, Texas – Tarleton State football games can be heard by an even larger audience starting this season, as the Texans announced Friday that KSTV Cowboy 93 will broadcast all 12 regular season games this season.
 
"This has been something we have wanted to do for a long time, and we're really excited about involving the community more in what Tarleton State is doing," said Tarleton State Associate Athletic Director for External Relations Byron Anderson. "The growth that we have here in Stephenville, I don't think there is a better place for us to expand than with KSTV to rope those folks in even more."
 
Tarleton State football games will also remain on KTRL 90.5 FM, plus the radio broadcast will also remain on the web at www.TarletonSports.com/Watch.
 
"Stephenville is a relationship town, and to have this relationship here will increase our visibility, which we're grateful for," Vice President and Director of Athletics Steve Uryasz said. "KSTV Cowboy 93 has seen the continued progress and potential that Tarleton State can provide for this community. We are excited to partner with them to further promote Texan Athletics."
 
KSTV 93 can be found at 93.1 FM, now Cowboy 93 and formerly known as The Mighty 93.
 
Tarleton State Football's radio broadcast team remains unchanged, entering its fifth season as a group on the call. Anderson will serve as the play-by-play broadcaster for his 11th straight football season. Former Tarleton State Football tight end and Tarleton State Athletics Hall of Famer Kyle Masters will be the color analyst for his ninth straight season. Keltin Wines will be the sideline reporter for his fifth straight season, as he enters his 10th season in totality with the Tarleton Sports Network.
 
The Texans will open their season on Aug. 29 under the lights, an 8 p.m. kickoff at Memorial Stadium featuring Tarleton State and Prairie View A&M. The winner of the season opener will claim the inaugural Chancellor's Cup, a new Texas A&M System tradition celebrating its member universities, its student traditions and its shared commitment to serving Texas.
