LAWTON, OKLA. - The Tarleton volleyball team will take on Cameron Saturday at 2 p.m. in Lawton, Okla. for their final regular season match of the 2010 campaign.
With the Lone Star Conference tournament starting next Thursday, the TexAnns will look to use Saturday's competition as a tune-up for the postseason.
Tarleton (21-9, 7-6 conf.) would like a win to help with their seed in the tournament, but will focus on Cameron first.
Rachel Wolf has led the TexAnns all season with 319 kills, while
Flynn Harrell is second with 251 kills and
Irelis Ilarraza is third with 240 kills.
Jessie Hartman has been the main facilitator with 690 assists on the year, with
Danielle Barker adding 408 assists.
Monica Hamel and
Catherine Cutbirth anchor the front line with 79 and 70 blocks respectively, while
Shea McBrearty controls the back line with 460 digs.
Cameron (9-17, 4-9 conf.) has had an unsuccessful season hitting just a .159 percentage, and averaging 11.5 kills per game, 10.7 assists per game and 15 digs per game.
Megan Olivarez leads the Aggies with 284 kills, with Adrienne Lawson contributing 243 kills and 334 digs. Jenna Risoli has provided 617 assists for Cameron, while Valerie Ogle has added 292 assists.
