Head coach Mary Schindler talked about her team's upset of the Lady Buffs after the game.
“WT is a solid team who is consistently at the top of the conference,” said Schindler. “It is a huge win for us and we are very excited, but it's only one win. I'll enjoy it tonight, but we have to begin to play that way every night. That is going to be the challenge. We need to create the mentality that beating WT is something we are capable of and have done before.”
The TexAnns return to action next Tuesday when they head to Texas A&M-Commerce at 7 p.m.
