TexAnns continue hot streak with win over A&M-Commerce

COMMERCE – The Tarleton women's volleyball team defeated Texas A&M-Commerce for its third straight win Tuesday night in Commerce.

The TexAnns won the first game 25-19 to get off t a fast start.  The Lions made game two a close set, but Tarleton escaped with a 25-23 win.  The third set was all TexAnns, who took the clinching game 25-21.

Flynn Harrell led the offense with 14 kills, while Nikki McNorton added 11 kills and four blocks.  Jessie Hartman contributed 22 assists, with Danielle Barker adding 11 more.  Harrell also had a team-high 12 digs.

As a team, Tarleton hit a .210 percentage while holding A&M-Commerce to a .127 mark.

Tarleton improved their record t 7-5 on the season and 2-1 in Lone Star Conference play.  The TexAnns' next match will take place Thursday in Lawton, Okla. when they take on Cameron.
