STEPHENVILLE - Coming off their five-set comeback win over Texas A&M-Commerce last Saturday, the Tarleton TexAnns will take a one-game break from conference action when they visit St. Edward's Tuesday night.
Seniors Emily Klein and Stacie Murrah are closing in on career marks as they enter Tuesday's contest. Klein is just 17 digs shy of moving into second place all-time in Tarleton's history while Murrah is 24 kills short of becoming the seventh TexAnn in school history with 1,000 career kills.

LAST TIME OUT
The TexAnns split a pair of Lone Star Conference home games, going to five sets in Friday and Saturday's games against Texas Woman's and Texas A&M-Commerce. After falling in five to the Pioneers, Tarleton fell behind the Lions 0-2 in Saturday's match before reeling off three straight wins to claim the match in five. Katie Covell had a career-high 19 kills while Emily Klein recorded her third career 30-dig game in the effort.
SERIES HISTORY
Tarleton trails the all-time series 5-13 dating back to the first meeting in 1992. The Hilltoppers won 12 of the first 14 meetings but the TexAnns have won three of the last four since 2009, including a sweep last season.
SCOUTING THE HILLTOPPERS
The Hilltoppers are coming off a four-set loss at Texas A&M-Kingsville. St. Edwards has lost four of their six October games and are 7-12 overall on the season. At home they are 5-4. SEU is led by Mary Koehler with 188 kills and 3.29 points per set.
MAKING THEIR MARKS
Danielle Barker, Emily Klein and Stacie Murrah are each closing in on career marks as their Tarleton careers draw to a finish. Barker has 2,911 career assists and is now 89 shy of becoming the second TexAnn in school history to amass 3,000 in her career. Klein is inching closer to passing Sharon Lister for second place on the all-time Tarleton digs list. With 1,447 digs, Klein will become No. 2 on the Tarleton digs list with just 17 more digs. Stacie Murrah is now 24 kills shy of becoming the seventh TexAnn ever to have 1,000 in her career.

The TexAnns will hit the road for a weekend pair of LSC games when they travel to Wichita Falls Friday night and Lawton, Oklahoma Saturday for games against Midwestern State and Cameron.
