GAME TIMES
Friday: #11 West Texas A&M vs. Tarleton at 6 p.m.
Saturday: Eastern New Mexico vs. Tarleton at 2 p.m.

LAST TIME OUT
Tarleton hasn't seen game action since last Friday night when they traveled to Kingsville for its annual battle against the Javelinas in South Texas. The teams split the first two sets of the match before Tarleton won the match by taking the final two games. Jazmine Green (15) and Stacie Murrah (12) led the team in kills last weekend. The TexAnns were originally scheduled to visit Our Lady of the Lake Saturday afternoon but that game was cancelled due to scheduling conflicts.

SERIES HISTORIES
Tarleton and West Texas A&M have played each other 40 times with the Lady Buffs holding a 38-2 overall record. The TexAnns have won one regular season game against WT in each of the past two season, including a five-set win in 2011 that snapped the Lady Buffs 87-game conference winning streak. The TexAnns are 2-1 all-time against WT in five-set matches. Against Eastern New Mexico, Tarleton trails the all-time series 12-23 dating back to the first meeting in 1985. The TexAnns have had recent success, however, winning the last 11 meetings against the Zias - all of which have been in less than five sets with four Tarleton sweeps.

JUNIOR TEXAN CLUB DEBUT
Saturday's game against Eastern New Mexico will be the first-ever Tarleton game in which the new Junior Texan Club members will be able to lead the team out onto the court. Junior Texans are encouraged to wear their JTC shirts and arrive 30 minutes prior to the start of the 2 p.m. match.

SCOUTING THE LADY BUFFS, ZIAS
West Texas A&M comes into the weekend as the No. 11-ranked team in the nation and fourth in the Lone Star Conference standings with a 2-0 conference record and 12-3 record overall. The Lady Buffs trail only Angelo State, Texas Woman's and Tarleton - all with 3-0 LSC records - in the conference standings. Meanwhile, the Zias - who won just one LSC game all season a year ago - is already 2-1 to start conference action under new head coach Sia Poyer.

PLAYER OF THE WEEK
Senior libero Emily Klein earned her second Player of the Week honor of the season for her efforts against St. Mary's and Texas A&M-Kingsville last week. Klein was a defensive force for the TexAnns last week, playing in all nine sets against St. Mary's and Texas A&M-Kingsville. She had 51 digs in two games, including a 28-dig effort in Tuesday's game against the Rattlers. Klein added two service aces and committed just one receiving error in nine sets. She was also named the Defensive PoW for the week of Sept. 17, which was the first weekly honor of Klein's four-year career.

BARKER EYES HARTMAN AS ALL-TIME ASSISTS LEADER
The senior from Amarillo enters the weekend with 524 assists on the season, giving her 2,650 for her career. Barker is currently 616 assists shy of tying her former teammate for the all-time lead in this category in the history of Tarleton volleyball. Barker is also 350 assists away from joining Hartman as the only two TexAnns to eclipse the 3,000 assists mark.

KLEIN CLOSING IN ON LISTER
Emily Klein is currently in third-place all-time on the Tarleton career digs list and is closing in on that second place spot - currently held by Sharon Lister with 1,463. Klein has 1,313 career digs, making her 150 digs shy of tying Lister's mark. Klein's former teammate, Shea McBrearty, is the school's all-time digs leader with 1,847.

UP NEXT FOR TARLETON
The TexAnns will take a one-match hiatus from conference play with a Tuesday night game against St. Mary's at 7 p.m. in Wisdom Gym.
