LAST TIME OUT
This is Tarleton's first match since hosting Texas A&M-Kingsville and knocking off the Javelinas in a sweep. Stacie Murrah and Jazmine Green each topped double figures in kills despite the quick defeat of Kingsville.

SERIES HISTORIES
In the all-time series history against Eastern New Mexico, Tarleton has dominated the series since the latter part of the 2005 season. Including a sweep in Stephenville earlier this season, Tarleton has now won 12 straight meetings against the Zias dating back to Oct. 29, 2005 – head coach Mary Schindler's first season at the helm of the TexAnns. Schindler lost her first meeting against the Zias 0-3 on Sept. 29, 2005 and has not lost since.

Against the Lady Buffs, Tarleton State trails the all-time series to West Texas A&M 39-2 after a four-set loss in Stephenville earlier this season. The TexAnns' only two wins have come in the past two seasons as Tarleton won its first ever game against WT in 2011 to end their 87-game conference winning streak and its first-ever victory in The Box last season in a five-set thriller. These wins make head coach Mary Schindler the only coach in school history to defeat West Texas A&M.

MURRAH SHINES ON COURT, IN CLASS
Announced by CoSIDA on Thursday, Stacie Murrah has been named a CoSIDA Academic All-American First-Team All-District honoree. The senior Interdisciplinary Studies major currently boasts a 3.72 grade point average and leads the team in kills, total attacks and points.

BARKER ON PACE TO BE SCHOOL'S ALL-TIME ASSIST LEADER
Danielle Barker has now surpassed the 1,000-assist mark in a season for the second consecutive season. After a 1,099 effort last season, Barker has 1,019 entering this weekend. For her career, Barker's total has advanced to 3,145 to bring her 121 assists shy of tying Jessie Hartman for the school's all-time lead in assists with four regular season games to go. She needs an average of 30.25 assists per match over the course of the regular season to reach to mark.

UP NEXT FOR TARLETON
The TexAnns will head to Texas A&M-Commerce Tuesday for their final regular season road game of the season.
