Video STEPHENVILLE – Looking to build off a sweep of regional foe St. Mary's, the Tarleton TexAnns will return to Wisdom Gym for conference matches, beginning Friday against Midwestern State.

LAST TIME OUT
Tarleton State started this week with a sweep over in-region opponent St. Mary's Tuesday night. The TexAnns earned their first win against St. Mary's in the last three meetings, dating back to 2010. 
Hailey Roberts led Tarleton with nine kills while 
Kaitlyn White added eight of her own. 
Jasmyne Brown had a team-high six blocks. 
Emily Medlin (23) and 
Chandler Gow (13) combined for 36 assists while 
Katie Covell led the team in digs with 13. 
TARLETON vs MIDWESTERN STATE
This is the 53rd all-time meeting between the TexAnns and Mustangs since the inaugural meeting in 1978 and the series is tied at 26-26. Tarleton has had the upper hand, of late, winning seven of the last eight since 2010 – five of which coming via the sweep. Tarleton defeated Midwestern earlier this year with a 3-0 sweep in Wichita Falls. 
TARLETON vs CAMERON
This is the 39th all-time meeting between the TexAnns and Aggies since the inaugural meeting in 1978 with Cameron holding the advantage 25-13. Cameron started the series 25-3 but the TexAnns have won the last 10 games since 2008. Tarleton beat Cameron in five sets earlier this season. 
ALEXANDER'S BLOCK PARTY
Tarleton junior middle blocker, 
Kenya Alexander continues to be the national leader in total blocks this season. Alexander has blocked 110 kill attempts in just 76 sets this season with 36 being solo blocks. She is also ranked second in blocks per set (1.45). 
UP NEXT FOR THE TEXANNS
After the two conference meetings this weekend, the TexAnns host an in-region opponent from the Heartland Conference when St. Edward's comes to town Tuesday at 7 p.m. This is Tarleton's final non-conference game of the regular season.
