LAST TIME OUT
Tarleton snapped its three-game losing streak in a big way by blowing out Texas A&M-Kingsville 80-14 on Homecoming night in Stephenville last Friday. The Texans broke multiple senior college-era records in the win.
Â
TARLETON vs EASTERN NEW MEXICO
This is meeting No. 23 all-time between the Texans and Greyhounds, dating back to the first meeting in 1961. Tarleton trails the all-time series 9-13 but have dominated the meetings since 2001, when the Texans won their first game over the Greyhounds. The 55-14 win in 2001 was the first of a nine-win in 10-game run for Tarleton.
Â
INSIDE THE SERIES
The Texans' only loss to ENMU in the last 13 years came in 2010 (10-35 in 2010). Tarleton hasn't lost in Black Water Draw since 2000. Tarleton has scored at least 34 points in the last three meetings against ENMU.
Â
NOTCHING LSC WIN NO. 100
Since moving into the NCAA in 1994, Tarleton State has won 100 conference games. The triple-digit victory came in a game where Tarleton nearly cracked triple digits as the Texans scored a senior college-era school record 80 points over Texas A&M-Kingsville on Oct. 11.
Â
TARLETON'S SCORING STREAK
The Texans have now scored a touchdown in 42 straight games dating back to the 2010 season. The last time a Tarleton team was held without a TD came in a 65-3 loss to Abilene Christian back on Sept. 25, 2010. Tarleton has scored at least a field goal or touchdown in 50 straight games heading into Saturday's game. The Texans have not been shutout since Nov. 8, 2008.
