THE GAME
Tarleton State has started the season 5-0 for the second consecutive season and is coming off one of the most well-balanced performances of the season Saturday night when the bench combined for 42 points in the Texans' 81-61 win over Northwest Nazarene. No. 8 Tarleton State now turns its attention to Arlington Baptist Tuesday night at 7:30 p.m.

THE BROADCAST
The game will have a live radio broadcast presented by the Tarleton Sports Network presented by North Texas Ford Dealers. The Voice of the Texans,
Casey Hogan, will be back calling the play-by-play for Tarleton basketball this season. The radio broadcast can be heard on KTRL 90.5 FM in Stephenville and surrounding areas or online at TarletonSports.com/ListenLive. The pregame show will begin 15 minutes prior to tip-off, immediately following the women's game.

THE OPPONENT
Arlington Baptist enters the game with an 0-4 record. The Patriots compete in the National Christian College Athletic Association. Statistics are not available for ABC.

THE SERIES
This is the fourth meeting all-time between the Texans and Patriots - all of which have come over the past four seasons. The Texans have won all three previous games, including a 107-54 throttling of the Patriots in Stephenville last season.

STARTING OUT 5-0
Tarleton State has started the season 5-0 for the fifth time, including two consecutive seasons, over the last 13 years. The Texans recorded their first 5-0 start as an NCAA program in 2002. Tarleton averaged 25 wins per season in the previous four seasons that started 5-0.

LOOKING TO GO 6-0
The Texans have started the season 6-0 in two seasons since joining the NCAA in 1994. The first 6-0 start came in the 2006-07 season and the second came last year in the midst of an 18-0 start to the year.

TARLETON IN NATIONAL POLLS
After starting the season ranked No. 12 in the nation, Tarleton State moved up four spots to No. 8 in the latest edition of the polls after starting the season 3-0. This now marks the 19th consecutive week in which Tarleton has appeared in the national rankings after joining the top-25 on Nov. 19 last season.

Of the 87 weeks in the NABC rankings, Tarleton has spent 53 of those weeks in the top 10, 36 in the top 5 and eight weeks at No. 1.

There is a new poll released in its first year of existence. The D2 Media Poll, sponsored by D2SIDA, has a regional poll released every Monday, followed by a national poll every Tuesday. Each region has two representatives that comprise the regional poll. The Texans are No. 8 in the latest media-voted ranking.

Lonn Reisman just completed his 27th month of November at the helm of the Tarleton State Basketball program. With a perfect 5-0 mark last month, Reisman now boasts a record of 100-31 in November games for a winning percentage of .763 in the season's opening month of action.

In Coach Reisman's 27 seasons at Tarleton State, the Texans have amassed a total record of 359-61 including a record of 141-13 with two undefeated home seasons since 2005.

Tarleton State is the last undefeated team standing in the Lone Star Conference at 5-0. Angelo State dropped its first game of the season 68-70 at Colorado Mesa and are now 6-1 in second place behind the Texans.
