LAST TIME OUT
Tarleton State started conference play off strong with a sweep of Texas A&M-Commerce. The TexAnns were in control for all three sets cruising to (25-19), (25-16) and (25-20) wins in straight sets.
TARLETON at MIDWESTERN STATE
This marks the 52nd time that the TexAnns and Mustangs will take to the hardwood against each other. Friday will give the TexAnns an opportunity to bring the all-time series to a tie at 26-26, as Midwestern State currently holds a 26-25 lead dating back to 1978. Tarleton has had the upper hand as of late winning six of the last seven since 2010, with four wins being 3-0 sweeps.
TARLETON vs. HARDING
This will be the first time Tarleton and Harding have met since 1997 when TSU beat Harding in Arkadelphia 3-2. The all-time series is tied at a game a piece.
TARLETON at CAMERON
Saturday's game will be the 38th meeting between against the Aggies. Cameron holds an all-time series lead at 25-12 but Tarleton has been in control winning the last nine matchups dating back to 2008. Tarleton is 6-13 all-time in Lawton, Okla.
COVELL EYEING MOVE UP ALL-TIME DIGS LIST

Katie Covell recorded 26 digs in the tournament opener against Arkansas-Fort Smith to give her 1,000 in her Tarleton career. She became just the ninth TexAnn in school history to amass over 1,000 career digs. She enters Friday's game three digs behind Missy Castro for fifth all-time and 15 digs away from passing Carie Key for fourth place all-time.
LSC OFFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK
True freshman
Hailey Roberts capped off her first week of college volleyball by being named the Lone Star Conference Offensive Player of the Week Tuesday afternoon. Roberts had arguably the best first career week of any TexAnn in school history. The freshman from Cedar Park had a league-high 94 kills in 23 sets to lift Tarleton to a 4-1 start to the season.
TARLETON LOOKING TO CONTINUE BEST START SINCE 2010
The TexAnns are 5-1 to begin the season, which is the best start for the TexAnns since 2010 when they began the season 9-0.
