Tarleton Volleyball will close out the 2015 regular season with a pair of road games against Midwestern State on Friday at 3 p.m. and against Cameron on Saturday at 2 p.m.

WHAT'S AT STAKE
The TexAnns are currently in the driver's seat for their first-ever Lone Star Conference regular season championship, which includes the right to host the LSC Championship Tournament on Nov. 19-21. The TexAnns currently hold a one-game lead over Angelo State in the LSC standings. In addition to the right the host the LSC Tournament, Tarleton is also in a battle with Angelo State for the right to host the NCAA Regional Tournament. The Rambelles, despite being behind the TexAnns in the conference standings, are the No. 1 team in south central regional poll while the TexAnns were No. 2.

LAST TIME OUT
The TexAnns defeated A&M-Kingsville 3-1 to sweep the season series and capped off an undefeated record at home for the first time in the NCAA era. It was also the 13
th straight conference win for Tarleton.

TARLETON VS MIDWESTERN STATE
Tarleton defeated Midwestern State 3-1 at Wisdom Gym on Oct. 10. The TexAnns lead the all-time series with the Mustangs 28-26. MSU is 6-24 overall and 0-14 in the Lone Star Conference this season. The TexAnns have won the last three matches against the Mustangs and nine of the last 10.

TARLETON VS CAMERON
Tarleton swept Cameron in their earlier matchup on Oct. 9 at Wisdom Gym. The TexAnns trail the all-time series 15-25 but have won the last 12 matches against the Aggies, including six straight on the road. Cameron is 16-7 and 7-7 in the LSC this season while being ranked seventh in the regional rankings.
SCHOOL RECORD
Tarleton enters the weekend with a 23-5 record and is two wins away from setting a school record for wins in a season for the second straight year. Last season, the TexAnns went 24-8 to set a new record.

ROBERTS ON THE ALL-TIME LIST
Hailey Roberts continues to etch herself into the Tarleton record books every week. The sophomore from Cedar Park recorded 13 kills against A&M-Kingsville for a total of 1,117 in her two-year Tarleton career. Roberts is tied with Stacie Murrah for seventh on the all-time kills list.

MOVING UP THE SINGLE-SEASON RECORD LIST
Several TexAnns have already or are on the verge of moving into the top 10 individual statistical seasons in the history of TexAnn Volleyball.
Hailey Roberts has pounded 608 kills this season, which is already the most by a single player in a season, and she is closing in on the Lone Star Conference record for kills in a season, which is 735 by West Texas A&M's Sarah Butler in 1999.
Chandler Gow has the third-most assists in a single season by a TexAnn, entering the weekend with 1,177. Gow is 22 assists away from passing Danielle Barker for second all time. Meanwhile,
Kenya Alexander (133) moved into No. 10 on the career blocks list while
Meg Umbel is looking to crack the top 10 with 116 blocks.

PLAYER OF THE WEEK
Kenya Alexander and
Chandler Gow each received LSC Weekly Player of the Week awards on Nov. 10 with Alexander named the Defensive Player of the Week and Gow earning the Setter of the Week. The TexAnns have received a total of 11 LSC weekly awards with
Hailey Roberts claiming four offensive awards, Gow three setter awards, Alexander two defensive, along with
Meg Umbel and
Ayssa Garcia each receiving a defensive award.

UP NEXT FOR TARLETON
Tarleton will compete in the Lone Star Conference tournament on Nov. 19-21. A pair of wins this weekend will make Tarleton the host of the tournament.
