THE GAME
After a decade since its last appearance, Tarleton State is back in the NCAA Division II Final Four where they will square off with No. 25 Indiana (Pa.) for a chance to play for the 2015 National Championship Saturday afternoon.
 
THE RADIO BROADCAST
The game will have a live radio broadcast presented by the Tarleton Sports Network presented by North Texas Ford Dealers. The Voice of the Texans, Casey Hogan, will be back calling the play-by-play for Tarleton basketball this season. The broadcast can be heard on KTRL 90.5 FM in Stephenville and surrounding areas or online at TarletonSports.com/ListenLive. The pregame show will begin 30 minutes prior to tip-off.
 
THE VIDEO BROADCAST
The game will be broadcasted live via webcast on NCAA.com for the second consecutive day. In addition to the webcast, the game can also be seen on CBS Sports Network on television. For DirecTV customers, it is channel 221. For Dish customers, it is channel 158. For AT&T U-Verse customers, it is channel 643. The game's webcast will be syndicated on Northland Cable channel 9, courtesy of the Texan News Service.
 
THE SERIES
Tarleton State and Indiana (Pa.) have never met. This is the first-ever meeting in the series.
 
THE OPPONENT
After entering the postseason with a 23-5 mark, IUP went through the first three rounds of the PSAC Championship Tournament with ease before falling in the tournament championship game to Gannon. The Hawks earned the No. 3 seed in the Atlantic Region and cruised into the championship game where they knocked off No. 1 seed West Liberty in a 77-74 thriller. They continued to lay siege to regional top seeds by knocking off the top-seeded team from the West Region, Azusa Pacific, with a 69-65 win Wednesday afternoon to earn a Final Four berth.
 
ABOUT INDIANA (PA.) UNIVERSITY
Located in Indiana, Pennsylvania, the university was founded in 1875. Like Tarleton State, the school has seen its share of name changes - beginning with Indiana Normal School then changing to State Teachers College at Indiana, Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, Indiana State College and its current mantra, which was decided on in 1965. Home to nearly 15,000 undergraduate students, IUP offers 136 undergraduate degrees, 57 master's degrees and 11 doctoral programs.
 
TARLETON IN NATIONAL POLLS
After starting the season ranked No. 12 in the nation, Tarleton State has spent the entire season moving between the No. 3 and No. 15 spots in the national poll and have been back in the top 10 over the last three rankings at No. 7. This now marks the 34th consecutive week in which Tarleton has appeared in the national rankings since joining the polls on Nov. 19, 2013.
 
NABC HISTORY
Of the 102 weeks in the NABC rankings, Tarleton has spent 62 of those weeks in the top 10, 39 in the top 5 and eight weeks at No. 1.
 
TARLETON'S RECORD IN THE DANCE
In Tarleton's 12 trips to the NCAA postseason, including this year, Tarleton State boasts an all-time record of 19-11 in the tournament. That record includes a 17-9 mark in the NCAA regional tournament and a 2-2 record in the Texans' three trips to the Elite Eight. Tarleton's first Elite Eight victory came in 2005 when the Texans defeated Cal Poly-Pomona 58-56 to advance to the semis.
 
A LOOK AT THE LAST FINAL FOUR GAME
It has been 10 years and two days - exactly 3,654 days - since Tarleton State's last Final Four contest against Bryant on March 24, 2005. The Texans fell five points short of a title shot despite 49 of the team's 55 total points coming from starters LaShon Sheffield (15), Cornell Jones (17) and David Stephens (17). Since that game, Tarleton State has racked up 242 total victories - an average of 24 wins per season - to get back to this spot.
 
REISMAN MOVES UP ALL-TIME WINS LIST
After starting the season No. 26 on the all-time wins list for Division II Head Coaches, Lonn Reisman is now in a three-way tie for 16th all-time on the Division II all-time wins list with 589 victories. He is tied with former Findlay coach Ron Niekamp and former Youngstown State coach Dom Rosselli.

REISMAN AT THE ELITE EIGHT
Lonn Reisman ranks No. 5 among the all-time winningest coaches still active in Division II - behind Herb Magee (Philadelphia University), Bob Chipman (Washburn), Richard Schmidt (Tampa) and Tom Klusman (Rollins). Among those top five, Reisman has now tied Chipman for the second-most appearances at the Elite Eight with three. Only Herb Magee (5) has more berths.
 
UP NEXT FOR TARLETON
The winner of Thursday's game will advance to the semifinal round will advance to the National Championship against the winner of Florida Southern and Bellarmine.
