AT A GLANCE
Tarleton will welcome its first Lone Star Conference rivals to Wisdom Gym this weekend as the TexAnns look to keep the good times rolling against West Texas A&M and Eastern New Mexico Friday and Saturday at 6 and 2 p.m., respectively.

LAST TIME OUT
Tarleton is coming off back-to-back days of matches against Texas Woman's and St. Mary's. The TexAnns traveled to Denton Tuesday and knocked off the Pioneers in four sets behind a record-setting offensive onslaught from Hailey Roberts, who set the school record for 37 kills in the match. Tarleton returned home the following day to host St. Mary's in a non-conference match and the TexAnns picked right up where they left off. Tarleton swept the Rattlers in Wisdom Gym for their third home win of the season.

TARLETON vs WEST TEXAS A&M
The TexAnns have won three times in 45 career meetings with the Lady Buffs, including one time in Wisdom Gym and twice in 'The Box'. Tarleton's last meeting with West Texas A&M came in Canyon last November when the TexAnns rallied from an 11-5 deficit in the fifth set to advance to the LSC Tournament Championship game against Angelo State.

TARLETON vs EASTERN NEW MEXICO
In a series that dates back to 1985, Tarleton trails the all-time series against Eastern New Mexico 14-25. Since a four-set win in 2005, however, Tarleton has been in complete control of the series by winning 13 of the last 15 meetings. Mary Schindler is 13-3 all-time against Eastern New Mexico.

OLD OPPONENT, NEW NAME
After spending several years with under the 'Zia' moniker, Eastern New Mexico has undergone a name change and will hereby refer to all athletics with the 'Greyhound' nickname.

LEADING THE LEAGUE
Tarleton boasts the Lone Star Conference's top scoring squads. The TexAnns currently lead the LSC in hit percentage (.259), kills per set (15.0), assists per set (14.3), and blocks per set (2.4). In addition to the team leads, Tarleton also leads the league in several individual categories including: Hailey Roberts in kills per set (6.5) and total kills (305), Chandler Gow in assists per set (11.9), and Meg Umbel in blocks per set (1.3).

BEST IN THE NATION
Hailey Roberts currently boasts the nations best offensive numbers with 6.10 kills per set. She is 1.24 kills per set better than the second-highest player (Stephanie Pingyin, Barton) in NCAA Division II. Her total not only leads NCAA Division II, but is also the top number in all of NCAA – topping Division I leader Taylor Louis of Marquette and Division III leader Larysa Iwaskiw of Ramapo.

10 MORE TO 200
Mary Schindler, who is in her 11th season as the head coach of Tarleton, enters this game with 190 career wins as she moves closer to 200 all-time victories at the helm of the TexAnns. Schindler, who is the longest tenured coach in the history of the program, already owns the most wins by a coach in Tarleton history.

UP NEXT FOR TARLETON
Tarleton will return to action for in back-to-back outings to start October with an Oct. 2 visit to St. Edward's and an Oct. 3 trip to Texas A&M-Kingsville.
