Tarleton will close out the regular season with a pair of road matches against Western New Mexico and Eastern New Mexico.
 
THE GAMES
The TexAnns (22-5, 14-4) play Western New Mexico (16-13, 8-10) on Friday at 6 p.m. and Eastern New Mexico (17-11, 12-6) on Saturday at 7 p.m.
 
ABOUT THE TEXANNS
Tarleton is ranked No. 3 in the South Central regional rankings. Tarleton's 22 wins on the season are the fourth most in school history and the 14 LSC wins rank second most in school history. The TexAnns have already set a program record for sweeps in a season with 16. Tarleton is led by Hailey Roberts, the national leader in kills per set (5.03) and is second in the nation in kills with 501, trailing Melissa Maczuzak (Notre Dame, OH) by two kills but Roberts has played four less matches. Jordyn Keamo's 59 service aces rank third in the nation.
 
ABOUT THE MUSTANGS
Western New Mexico comes in with a 16-13 record and 8-10 in the LSC, ranking seventh. The Mustangs are 6-2 at home this season but has lost three straight matches overall. Heather Verill leads the Mustangs in kills with 291. Melanie Hughes is the team-leader in assists with 544 while Ashley Mataele has a team high 493 digs.
 
ABOUT THE GREYHOUNDS
Eastern New Mexico has improved its win total by four games already after finished 13-20 last season. ENMU, who is 17-11 overall and 12-6 in the LSC, is tied for third in the LSC. The Greyhounds are 8-1 at home this season and have won seven straight at home. ENMU is led by Lauren Frye's 491 kills. Alexis Aguirre has a team-high 710 assists and 459 digs.
 
SERIES HISTORY
Tarleton is 3-8 all time against Western New Mexico, but has won the last three matches against the Mustangs, including a 3-0 win back on Oct. 15. The TexAnns are 18-25 all time against Eastern New Mexico since the series began back in 1985. Tarleton has won five straight against the Greyhounds and swept ENMU back on Oct. 14 in Stephenville.
 
UP NEXT FOR TARLTEON
The TexAnns will travel to San Angelo for the Lone Star Conference tournament on Nov. 17-19.
