LONE STAR CONFERENCE CHAMPS
The 2017 TexAnns claimed both the Lone Star Conference regular season and tournament championships en route to a 29-5 record this season. This is the first team in program history and the fourth Tarleton Athletics team in the school's NCAA history to win an LSC regular season and tournament championship in the same season.

LAST TIME OUT
Tarleton hosted the Lone Star Conference Championship Tournament in Stephenville on Nov. 16-18 and swept their way to another league title by taking care of Eastern New Mexico, West Texas A&M, and Texas Woman's in straight sets. Tarleton's Adrianna Knutson and Jordyn Keamo were named all-tournament while Hailey Roberts was named the LSC Tournament Most Valuable Player.

IN THE NATIONAL SPOTLIGHT
Tarleton comes into the week at No. 12 in the American Volleyball Coaches Association national poll. The TexAnns have been ranked in every poll this season since opening the year at No. 25 and reaching a ranking as high as No. 11. The TexAnns are the only Lone Star Conference team ranked in the national poll.

INSIDE THE SERIES
Tarleton trails the all-time series with West Texas A&M 9-43, but the TexAnns have won seven of the last eight meetings with the Lady Buffs, including sweeps in the first meeting of the season and in the LSC Tournament semifinals.

UP NEXT FOR TARLETON
Tarleton's season will continue with every victory moving forward. The winner of Thursday's quarterfinal match will advance to play the winner of Texas A&M-Commerce and Metro State Friday at 6 p.m. CT / 5 p.m. MT.
