BIRMINGHAM, Ala.— Rascellis Williams competed in the high jump at the NCAA Indoor Championships and finished 9^th with a jump of 6'-9.50.
 
"I am very proud of Rascellis," said head coach Pat Ponder. "He did his best for the day and that is all I would ever ask. He represented Tarleton State University with class."
 
The sophomore from Mineral Wells had a career best jump of 6'10.75 this season at the LSC Championships.
 
Williams' and the Tarleton Track & Field team will open its outdoor season at the Spring Break Multi-Event in Angelo, Texas on March 15-16.
