SAN ANTONIO – The TexAnn Tennis team dropped its second consecutive match Friday afternoon when Tarleton fell 7-2 to No. 14 Drury in a neutral match in San Antonio.
Erika Johnston and
Ashleigh Elward provided spark for Tarleton in doubles play by winning the No. 2 doubles match 8-4 to get the TexAnns on the board heading into singles. However, only
Alicia Barbaroux was able to win her singles match as the freshman from France rallied from a 3-6 loss in the first set to win the next one 6-4 and the tiebreaker 11-9 in the No. 4 match.
