Texans 4x400m relay team, Stidham earn All-American honors on final day at NCAA Championships

CHARLOTTE, North Carolina—Tarleton earned five All-American honors on the final day of the 2018 NCAA Division II Outdoor Track & Field Championships on Saturday.
 
"I am really proud of these men," said head coach Pat Ponder. "They did a great job representing our team, our athletic program, and our university."
 
The Texans 4x400-meter relay team (Zachary Martinez, Anterius Brown, Jevon Wallace, Colton Troutman) finished seventh with a time of 3:11.46. This marks the first career All-American honors for the young mile-relay team. These men were also named to the USTFCCCA All-Region team earlier this season. 
 
Stidham clocked a 14.43 and finished eighth in his final race to close out the 2018 track & field season. He earned an All-American honor with his performance, adding to his accolades this season as he was named to the USTFCCCA All-Region and LSC All-Conference team.
