The No. 22 Texans (10-5, 4-2 LSC) will return home this weekend for a two-game series against Dallas Baptist. The teams will first battle in Wisdom Volleyball Gym on Friday and then in Dallas on Saturday to close out the series.

LAST TIME OUT
Tarleton got double-digit kill performances from three different players and hit .322 as a team en route to knocking off Texas Woman's in four sets Tuesday night in Denton.
 
Tatyana Tuialii-Umi led the way with 15 kills on a .333 hit percentage to go along with 10 digs for her first career double-double. Amber Strange (.333) and Lauren Kersey (.357) each boasted 12 kills on the night while topping a .300 hit percentage.
 
NATIONAL SPOTLIGHT
Tarleton Volleyball is ranked No. 22 heading into this week's matches after the latest poll was released by the American Volleyball Coaches Association (AVCA). Tarleton has now been ranked in 35 straight AVCA polls dating back to the final poll of the 2016 season.
 
The Texans are one of two LSC teams ranked by the AVCA, joining Angelo State who's ranked No. 21. 
 
THE OPPONENT: DALLAS BAPTIST
The Texans and Patriots last met in 2018, where Tarleton swept Dallas Baptist in Wisdom, 3-0. The Texans lead the all-time series 38-6. Tarleton is 16-0 at home and 14-4 in Dallas versus the Patriots. Dallas Baptist enters the match 11-7 on the season with a 3-3 mark in conference play.
 
UP NEXT FOR TARLETON
Tarleton will be back on the road next week to battle two LSC rivals. On Friday, the Texans will play St. Mary's in San Antonio at 6:00 p.m. Tarleton will then travel to Austin to play St. Edward's on Saturday at 1:00 p.m.
