LAST TIME OUT
Tarleton is coming off a 1-1 week on the road. The Texans started their weekend road trip off in dominating fashion with a sweep of St. Mary's. The team then suffered a five-set loss in Austin to St. Edward's on Saturday afternoon.
 
NATIONAL SPOTLIGHT
Tarleton Volleyball received votes in this week's American Volleyball Coaches Association (AVCA) poll. 
 
The Texans are one of three LSC teams ranked, joining Angelo State (15) and Texas A&M-Commerce (23).
 
THE OPPONENT: WEST TEXAS A&M
The Texans and Lady Buffs last met in 2015, where Tarleton defeated West Texas in Canyon, 3-2. The Lady Buffs lead the all-time series 12-45 and hold the advantage in Wisdom, 7-19. West Texas enters the match 13-4 on the season with a 7-3 mark in conference play.
 
UP NEXT FOR TARLETON
Over the weekend, the Texans will battle two Lone Star Conference rivals in Wisdom. Tarleton will take on #23 Texas A&M Commerce on Friday at 6:00 p.m. and then University of Texas-Tyler on Saturday at 2:00 p.m.
