LAST TIME OUT
Tarleton is coming off a 1-1 week after defeating Cameron and then falling to University of Arkansas-Fort Smith in Wisdom Volleyball Gym.
 
NATIONAL SPOTLIGHT
Tarleton Volleyball is ranked No. 22 heading into this week's matches after the latest poll was released by the American Volleyball Coaches Association (AVCA). Tarleton has now been ranked in 35 straight AVCA polls dating back to the final poll of the 2016 season.
 
The Texans are one of two LSC teams ranked by the AVCA, joining Angelo State who's ranked No. 21. 
 
THE OPPONENT: TEXAS WOMAN'S
The Texans and Pioneer last met in 2018, where Tarleton defeated Texas Woman's in Denton, 3-2. The Pioneer lead the all-time series 26-33 and hold the advantage in Denton, 10-15. Texas Woman's enters the match 8-7 on the season with a 4-2 mark in conference play.
 
UP NEXT FOR TARLETON
Tarleton will return home this weekend for a two-game series against Dallas Baptist. The teams will first battle in Wisdom Volleyball Gym on Friday at 6:00 p.m. and then in Dallas to close out the series at 2:00 p.m.
