STEPHENVILLE – Texan Nation loves to represent the purple and white.
 
Over the next week leading up to National College Colors Day on Friday, September 4, Tarleton State University wants to see it.
 
Tarleton Athletics joins other departments all across Tarleton State University in Stephenville and beyond in promoting the #TarletonColors Contest leading up to National College Colors Day. Fans should submit photos and videos on twitter and Instagram using #TarletonColors beginning today through the end of the week.
 
How to Enter
 

• Follow @TarletonSports and @Tarleton State on Twitter and Instagram
• Show off your creativity with a short video or photo
  • Video: Create a short video of you or a group of friends saying, "I'm a proud Tarleton Texan! This is how I wear my purple." (Videos over 30 seconds long will be disqualified)
  • Photo: Put on your purple and capture the moment!
• Share on Twitter and Instagram with the hashtag #TarletonColors

 
Entries will be accepted through Friday, August 28 at 12 p.m. Online voting will take place next week through Thursday, Sept. 3. Winners will be announced on National College Colors Day Friday, Sept. 4. Official rules and guidelines can be found at www.tarleton.edu/colors-day.
 
Now in its 16th year, College Colors Day gives more than 185 million college fans across the country a dedicated day to showcase their unmatched passion and spirit. College colors never fade. This is Tarleton's second year to participate.
