Tarleton State will welcome new Texan Men's Basketball head coach Eric Haut on Tuesday with an introductory press conference at 10:30 a.m. Also on Tuesday, Texan Softball hosts No. 3 Texas Tech at 5 p.m. This weekend, the lone home sport in action will be Texan Baseball, who hosts Air Force Friday-Sunday.

TEXAN MEN'S BASKETBALL will host its introductory press conference on Tuesday at 10:30 a.m. at the EECU Center for new head coach Eric Haut. Tarleton State will officially launch the "New Era" in Texan Men's Basketball on Tuesday. All media members, students, staff and fans are invited to attend. Doors for the EECU Center will open at 10 a.m. Haut was officially named the 16th men's basketball head coach in program history on March 12. He joins Tarleton State from Utah State, where he has served as Associate Head Coach for two seasons (2024-26). For those unable to attend the press conference live, it will be streamed on ESPN+.

TEXAN SOFTBALL hosts No. 3 Texas Tech on Tuesday at 5 p.m. at the Tarleton State Softball Complex. General admission and reserved tickets are sold out for the game, and it is first-come first-served for students for free entry through the Corq app. Student attendance is capped at 200, so students should arrive early to get in. The Texans just went 3-1 in this past weekend's home series against Rhode Island, improving to 21-13 overall. The Red Raiders are 30-2 overall this year, now ranked No. 3 nationally after entering the year ranked No. 1. After Tuesday's game, Tarleton State will open Western Athletic Conference play on the road at UT Arlington to face the Lady Mavericks for three games; Friday at 5 p.m., Saturday at 12 p.m. and Saturday at 2:30 p.m.

TEXAN BASEBALL just had a perfect week, going 4-0 all on the road, with a win at No. 2 Texas on Tuesday and a three-game sweep at Stephen F. Austin Friday-Sunday. This week, the Texans will wrap up a five-game road trip at Lamar on Tuesday at 6 p.m. before hosting Air Force for three games this weekend. Games will be Friday at 6 p.m., Saturday at 3 p.m. and Sunday at 1 p.m. On Friday, Tarleton State will celebrate Military Appreciation, with a giveaway provided by the Corps of Cadets. On Saturday, there will be a special ceremonial first pitch by Joel Robison, a former Tarleton State student-athlete whose dad also coached at Air Force, to add on to Military Appreciation. On Sunday to celebrate Easter a week early, Tarleton State will be giving away purple Easter Bunny ears and will be hosting an Easter egg hunt on the field postgame.

TEXAN TRACK AND FIELD just opened its outdoor slate with a pair of school records at the ACU Wes Kittley Invitational at Elmer Gray Stadium on Friday and Saturday. Jacob Thomas and Tayler Wessely each broke school records, with Thomas breaking a 17-year mark in the pole vault, and Wessely breaking her own in the hammer throw by over seven meters. Tarleton State will continue its outdoor slate this week at the Clyde Hart Invitational hosted by Baylor on Friday and Saturday.

TEXAN TENNIS will have a pair of matches in St. George, Utah, on Saturday, set to take on Montana at 10 a.m. CT and Utah Tech at 3 p.m. CT. The Texans are 11-5 overall with three straight wins, including a 4-1 road win at UT Arlington. There are only six regular season matches remaining for the Texans before the WAC Tournament. Last week, Tarleton State Tennis earned both Singles and Doubles Players of the Week honors from the WAC for the third time this year with senior Emma Persson (Singles) and freshmen Aya Ishii and Marissa Minetti (Doubles) picking up the conference's award.

TEXAN BEACH VOLLEYBALL will have two matches this upcoming week, both on Saturday in Lake Charles, Louisiana, at the Sandy Poke Invitational, facing McNeese at 10 a.m. CT and Southeastern Louisiana at 12 p.m. CT. Tarleton State Beach Volleyball just knocked off San Francisco in convincing fashion, 4-1, on Saturday to highlight its two-day run at the Arizona Invitational in Tucson on Friday-Sunday, hosted by the Arizona Wildcats. Tarleton State is a win short of last season's program record for single-season wins at six, now in the Texans' third season of existence.
