STEPHENVILLE, Texas – The Tarleton women's golf program's 2022 fall schedule was announced on Tuesday, a campaign set to begin on Sept. 12 in Springville, Utah.
 
The Texans will compete in four tournaments in the first half of 2022-23, across four different states in a five-week span.
 
First up is the Hobble Creek Fall Classic at the Hobble Creek Golf Course in Springville, Utah, hosted by Utah Valley on Sept. 12-13. This will be the first tournament the Tarleton women's golf program has played in Utah in at least the past 15 years.
 
Next is the 2022 Huntsville Toyota Bearkat Invitational on Sep. 26-27, hosted by Sam Houston at the Bearkat Course, formally Raven Nest Golf Club. Last year at this tournament, the Texans put together their best finish of the fall slate, thanks in part to Sofia Rodriguez carding 73-72 in the first two rounds to go +3 on the first day.
 
On Oct. 3-4, the Texans will be in Lakewood, Washington, for the Pat Lesser Harbottle Invitational at the Tacoma Country and Golf Club, hosted by Seattle U. It will be Tarleton's first tournament action in Washington since 2012-13, as they took third out of 13 teams competing in the Viking Invitational in Bellingham.   
 
Finally, on Oct. 16-17, the Texans will participate in the Little Rock Women's Golf Classic in Hot Springs Village, Arkansas, at Diamante Country Club, hosted by Arkansas-Little Rock. Last year in Arkansas, Tarleton put together its best team score of the season at the Lady Red Wolves Classic in Jonesboro. Rodriguez tied for 10th individually at +3 overall, and Mathilde Brogens tied for 17th at +5.
 
The Texans will look to maintain their momentum from their 2021-22 finish, a would-be fifth place result at the WAC Championship. Tarleton was ineligible to post a team score because of their reclassification process, the final year that was the case.
 
Tarleton's spring slate of 2022-23 will be announced at a later date.
