STEPHENVILLE, Texas — Tarleton State Women's Golf announced the addition of Wichita State transfer Magdalena Domine on Tuesday.
Domine will head to Stephenville for her sophomore campaign after spending her first year at Wichita State. She is originally from Rio Cuarto, Cordoba, Argentina. She enjoyed an illustrious amateur career before heading to the United States to begin her collegiate career last fall.

In her freshman campaign at Wichita State, Domine played in eight events totaling 22 rounds. She posted a pair of top 20 performances with her best finish coming at the Red Rocks Invitational. She shot a pair of even par rounds with a one-over, 73, to card a one-over par, 217 and tie for eighth place. It was both her lowest 54 hole round score of the season and her best overall finish. Her lowest single round came at the Payne Stewart Memorial in her collegiate debut last fall. After opening with an 80, she carded a one-under 70 on her second round, one of just four golfers in the entire field to shoot an under-par second round.
In her final event of the season, she tied for 12
th at the American Conference Championship, the highest finish on her team. At the AAC Championship, she carded an opening round of 75 before shooting 74 on her second round. On the final day, she carded an even 72, one of her four rounds this season even or under par. She tied for the second-highest finish as a freshman in the field.
Prior to playing at the collegiate level, she was a very decorated amateur golfer in Argentina. She won the 2024 Chilean Junior Open as well as the Copa de Oro Dr. Eugenio Blanco and 87° Campeonato Abierto Ciudad de Rosario in the same year. In 2022 she won the 80° Campeonato de la Provincia de Córdoba and won the South American Youth Championship in 2021. She also represented Argentina in international golf competitions.
She is the daughter of Pablo Domine and Natalia Baldini, and has one brother, Joaquin. She intends to major in psychology at Tarleton State. She is originally from Rio Cuarto, Cordoba, Argentina and went to high school at SEADEA.
Domine will join the Texans ahead of the 2026-27 season campaign in the fall. More information about the fall and spring schedule will be released at a later date.
