Tarleton State Women’s Golf releases 2026 fall schedule

STEPHENVILLE, Texas — Tarleton State Women's Golf head coach Isabel Jimenez announced the 2026 fall schedule ahead of her ninth season at the helm of the Texan program.

The reigning back-to-back WAC Champions, one of 11 women's golf programs in the country to complete the feat, will embark on five fall tournaments this season. Tarleton State will feature five tournaments in the fall with three in September and two in October. The Texans first appearance in the first-ever UAC Women's Golf Championship will come in the spring as well as a potential bid to their third-consecutive NCAA Regional.

The Texans consist of nearly a brand-new roster with two returners from last season. Sophomore Gina Chen and junior Natalia Fiel Ros return for the Texans after winning their first ring with the program last season. The team will include a quarter of newcomers including a pair of sophomores Magdalena Domine and Filippa Mortensen. Rounding out the newcomers are freshmen Yanin Kangthawornwong and Lucila Quiroga.

"We are very excited to start a brand-new season, with a very new and young team," said head coach Isabel Jimenez. "We come off a high from the past 2 season as back-to-back conference champions and we look forward to this fall's schedule. We have been getting more opportunities to enter stronger tournament fields where we can showcase our talent. This schedule will test our team and will provide a lot of new competition experience, that is only going to develop us even further. I can't wait to start competition and show Texan Nation what the team is capable of going into this season."

The Purple and White will begin their fall slate on Sept. 8 at the Tulane Classic at TPC Louisiana. It will mark the Texans first appearance at the event in their Division I era. It also marks the program's first trip to Louisiana. The squad will have just over a week before competing in back-to-back weeks to end the month of September. The Texans will travel to Bozeman, Mont. to take part in the Yellowstone Intercollegiate hosted by Montana State on Sept. 21-22. The Purple and White will close out the month competing at the Powercat Classic hosted by Kansas State for the second-consecutive season. The Texans will compete on Sept. 28 and 29 at the Colbert Hills Golf Course.

After another week break the final two Texan events of the fall slate are set for October. The Texans will begin the month at the Golf Iconic Classic hosted by New Mexico State. The three-day event is slated from Oct. 12-14 at the NMSU Golf Course. The fall finale will take place on Oct. 25-27 at The Clash at Boulder Creek. The event hosted by Northern Arizona has become a staple for the Purple and White marking the third-consecutive year the Texans are competing in the event.

Tarleton State will compete in their first UAC Championship in the spring season. More information on that and the rest of the spring regular schedule will be announced after the conclusion of the fall season for the Texans.
