- This is the second ever meeting between these two programs. The Eagles won this matchup last year in Cheney 65-45.
- The Eagles just lost Monday for the first time this season, moving to 3-1. They won their season opener against fellow WAC program Southern Utah in Cedar City 86-77.

- Tarleton has 10 days in-between games since the road game at Northwestern State, scheduled for Nov. 16, was postponed to Dec. 6 due to COVID-19 protocol in the Lady Demon program.

- Teresa Da Silva: Da Silva has scored in double figures in all three games this season, averaging a team-high 15.0 PPG, adding 3.3 RPG and 3.3 SPG. She's scored 10-plus points in six straight games, dating back to last season. She is third in the WAC in steals per game, tied-30th in the country.
- Andjela Bigovic: Bigovic did it all in Tarleton's last game, going for 12 points, 16 rebounds, three assists, two steals and two blocks. Her 16 rebounds are a Texan NCAA Division I record, surpassing Seynabou Thiam's two different 15-rebound games in 2021-22.
- Elise Turrubiates: Turrubiates has been one of the best shooters on the team through three games, going 12-of-19 (.632) from the field, 3-for-3 (1.000) from distance and 7-of-8 (.875) from the stripe. Her 3-of-3 mark from the three-point line comes after going 0-for-2 across all of last season.
