STEPHENVILLE, Texas – The United Athletic Conference revealed Tarleton State Women's Basketball's 2027 conference schedule on Wednesday.

Tarleton State will play 16 conference games in its debut season in the UAC, including eight home contests at the EECU Center. Five of those home games will be a doubleheader feature with the Texans' men's basketball team (Jan. 9 vs. EKU, Jan. 27 vs. North Alabama, Feb. 10 vs. Central Arkansas, Feb. 20 vs. West Georgia, Feb. 24 vs. Austin Peay).

New customers interested in 2026-27 season tickets can sign up now by putting down a $15 deposit per ticket, with the deposit going towards the cost of the season tickets. Customers who sign up now will get early access to seat selection when season tickets go on sale. Deposits can be placed by calling the Tarleton State Ticket Office at 254-968-1832 or online.

UAC play opens for the Texans in Stephenville on Saturday, January 9 against Eastern Kentucky. The Colonels are coming off a program record 25 wins from a year ago, receiving a bid to the Women's Basketball Invitational Tournament. EKU defeated Utah in the WBIT to reach their program record for wins.

After a two-game road swing at West Georgia (Jan. 13) and North Alabama (Jan. 16), the Texans return to the EECU Center for a three-game homestand. The Texans will take on a familiar foe in UT Arlington (Jan. 20) before facing Little Rock (Jan. 23) and North Alabama (Jan. 27).

Tarleton State goes back on the road, facing two teams that competed in the WNIT. The Texans will travel to Abilene to face ACU (Jan. 30), the 2025 WAC Runner-Up, before going to Tennessee to face Austin Peay (Feb. 3). The road trip wraps up in Richmond, Kentucky, to face EKU on February 6.

Central Arkansas, a 21-win team from a year ago, will come to Stephenville for the first time as a member of the UAC on February 10. The Texans will face ACU at home later that week on Saturday, February 13. After a road game at Little Rock (Feb. 17), the Texans return to the EECU Center to face West Georgia (Feb. 20) and Austin Peay (Feb. 24) for the final two home games of the regular season.

The Texans will take a quick trip to Arlington on March 3 to face UTA before wrapping up the regular season at Central Arkansas on March 6. The UAC Tournament will take place March 10-14, with location to be determined.

Tarleton State has picked up over 1,000 wins as a senior college, with the Texans obtaining the program's 1,000th win on Jan. 31 earlier this year. The Texans made their second straight WAC Semifinal after an upset win over Utah Valley. Tarleton State returns three letterwinners from the previous season, including starting guard Caroline Lyles.
