- This is the fourth straight season Tarleton State is playing at a Power Five program. They faced both Vanderbilt and Nebraska last year, Arkansas in 2021-22 and Florida in 2020-21.

- Teresa Da Silva: Da Silva just scored her ninth career 20+ point game, posting 23 points (8-14 FG), six steals, four assists, three rebounds and two blocks. That makes three straight 20+ point games dating back to last season, a tied-career-long stretch. Her six steals also marked a new career-high.
- Elise Turrubiates: Turrubiates led the team in rebounding in the season-opener with nine, adding 16 points on 7-of-7 shooting and five assists. It marked her first career game she was perfect from the field, and her 16 points were her second most ever.
- Tyler Jackson: Like Elise Turrubiates, Tyler Jackson also didn't miss a shot on Monday, going 6-of-6 from the field for 13 points, adding four assists and three rebounds. Jackson is back in form after a tough finish to last season, where she had 13 points on 3-of-15 shooting over the final four games.
