ABILENE, Texas – Tarleton track and field capped off two days of competition at the Wes Kittley Invitational hosted by ACU at Elmer Gray Stadium on Saturday evening.
 
Men's Results
Justin Raines finished the meet placing first in the 100m dash, running 10.24 seconds which is the best mark in the WAC in 2023. He also placed second in the 200m, running it in 20.80 seconds which is also the top mark in the WAC so far this season.
 
Brandon McKissick turned in a first-place finish in the 400m dash, running it in 47.83 seconds. The time is the second best in the WAC in 2023.
 
Alan Palmer registered a first-place finish in the long jump, jumping 7.36m. It is the second best jump in the WAC in 2023.
 
The men's 4x400m relay team consisting of Canyun Staton, McKissick, Bailey Smotek and Reid Vincent won the event, running 3:14.31.
 
Kevin Calvani placed second in the men's 800m race, running it in 1:53.99 and good for second best in the WAC in the 2023 outdoor season.
 
Kyler Seymore and Maxon Newell tied-second in the high jump, both clearing 1.88m.
 
Women's Results
Hanna Dudley had in impressive meet, finishing first in the 100m dash with a time of 11.66 and placing second in the 200m, running 23.93 seconds which is the second best mark in the WAC this outdoor season.
 
Rese Schoonover finished second in the 100m hurdles with a time of 14.54.
 
Nakia Dunn registered a second-place performance in the long jump, jumping 5.40m.
 
Paige Elliott finished third in the pole vault, clearing 3.38m.

Danielle Thomas placed third in the 100m, running 11.98.
 
Morgan Lamberson finished third in the 3000m steeplechase, finishing in 11:17.22
 
Ashonti Idlebird placed third in the triple jump, leaping 11.08m.
 
Audrey Lillard placed third in the women's hammer throw, hurling 47.71m.
 
Next Up
Tarleton will travel to Waco for the Clyde Hart Classic on March 25 and 26 hosted by Baylor.
