STEPHENVILLE, Texas – The 2023-24 athletics season is officially underway, and with that means Tarleton State's annual Texan Club Kickoff Luncheon.
 
This year's event will be Tuesday, Aug. 8, from 12-1 p.m. at City Hall at City Limits in Stephenville, Texas. The luncheon is open to the public and tickets are $10.
 
Speakers for the first luncheon of 2023-24 will be Tarleton State University President Dr. James Hurley, Vice President of Intercollegiate Athletics Lonn Reisman, Texan Football head coach Todd Whitten and Texan Volleyball head coach Mary Schindler.

For nearly 40 years, the Texan Club has strived to continue Tarleton State's athletic success by providing financial support for the university's athletic programs. The club is open to family, friends, alumni and others who recognize the importance of collegiate athletics.
