For the first time in just their second year eligible, Tarleton State's Men's and Women's Basketball programs will both be heading to the Western Athletic Conference Basketball Tournament in Las Vegas.

Meanwhile in Stephenville, the Texans have just one home event on the week, as Tarleton State Baseball hosts Texas State on Tuesday. Texan Track and Field will be just down the road at Abilene Christian's Wes Kittley Invitational Thursday-Friday.

TEXAN WOMEN'S GOLF travels to Sugarland, Texas, to begin the week and compete in the HCU Husky Invitational. The invite will begin on Monday and conclude Tuesday. The Texans will have a quick turnaround and travel to Alabama to compete in the UAB Bama Beach Bash March 17-19.

TEXAN MEN'S BASKETBALL split last week's games and solidified themselves as the second seed in the 2024 WAC Tournament. This guarantees them a two-round bye that places them in the semifinals of the tournament. Their semifinal matchup will be on Friday at 10:30 p.m. CT and will be a nationally televised contest on ESPNU. The Texans will face the top team out of Abilene Christian, Stephen F. Austin, or UT Arlington. If the Texans advance from the semifinals, the championship game will be Saturday at 10:30 p.m. CT from Las Vegas. This game will be broadcast on ESPN2.

TEXAN BASEBALL dropped their WAC opening series and looks to bounce back with an in-week game on Tuesday against Texas State. This game is slated for 6 p.m. in the Tarleton Baseball Complex. The Texans will continue conference play and travel to Arizona to begin a three-game series against Grand Canyon. The first game of the series is scheduled for 8 p.m. CT on Friday, with Game 2 set for the same time on Saturday. They will close out the series at 2 p.m. CT on Sunday.

TEXAN WOMEN'S BASKETBALL closed out the regular season winning three of their final four games, landing them their first appearance in the WAC Basketball Tournament as the seventh overall seed. The Texans will open their tournament debut against the sixth seed, Abilene Christian, at 4:30 p.m. CT on Wednesday. If they advance, they will play the third-seeded Ladyjacks out of Stephen F. Austin at 4:30 p.m. CT on Thursday. A win there will land them a spot in the semifinals against the second seed, Grand Canyon, at 4:30 p.m. CT on Friday. The Women's Basketball WAC Tournament Championship game is set to be at 12:30 p.m. CT on Saturday.

TARLETON STATE SOFTBALL remains on the road and faces the top team in Division I softball, Oklahoma. They will play a doubleheader in Norman, Oklahoma, with Game 1 set to begin at 4:30 p.m. The Texans will then begin conference play at Utah Valley, starting with a doubleheader on Friday. First pitch is scheduled for 3 p.m. They will close out the series at 2 p.m. on Saturday. The Texans will return to Stephenville for home games for the first time in nearly a month on March 22 to host UT Arlington.

TEXAN TRACK & FIELD began their outdoor season at the UTA Invite last week and has a quick turnaround to Abilene to compete in the Wes Kittley Invitational. This is set to begin on Thursday and conclude on Friday. The Texans' next road trip will be March 22-23 to Waco for the Clyde Hart Invitational.
