STEPHENVILLE, Texas – Following back-to-back home wins to open its first season at the EECU Center, Tarleton State Men's Basketball announced its promotional schedule for the remainder of the 2025-26 campaign.
 
There will be 13 promotional games for the Texans covering their final 13 home contests.
 
After Tarleton State hosts Angelo State on Monday in an old rivalry clash, the Texans will host a Turkey Day Encore on Black Friday, when Tarleton State takes on Midwestern State at 4 p.m. There will be special deals at the concessions and more Thanksgiving style food for those who didn't get enough on Thanksgiving itself.
 
On Dec. 3, Tarleton State Men's Basketball will host a toy drive that will benefit the Stephenville Optimist Club's mission of providing toys to children in need in the community. Fans are encouraged to bring new, unused toys to the game to donate.
 
On Dec. 7, both Texan Women's Basketball and Texan Men's Basketball will host Faith and Family Day, with local church groups in attendance.
 
On Dec. 19 will be 'Tis the Season at the EECU Center, with plenty of Christmas music and holiday themes throughout the arena and the contest itself. It's National Ugly Christmas Sweater Day, so fans are encouraged to don their ugly Christmas sweaters, and the Texans will be giving away free Tarleton State ornaments at the game.
 
On Jan. 1, the Texans invite fans to celebrate 2026 with its Happy New Year game. To help ring in the New Year and 1/1, Tarleton State will offer $1 popcorn, $1 soda at the game.
 
On Jan. 3, Tarleton State will host a 1/3 Kids Eat for Free night, to help encourage families attend the game during the holiday break. Kids will receive a voucher for free food upon arrival.
 
On Jan. 8, the Texans will host a Bleed Purple Night as the team shows Abilene Chrisitan who truly wears purple better between the two institutions. Tarleton State will have a Bleed Purple themed giveaway for the game.
 
On Jan. 24, Tarleton State will return its popular $1 Dog, $1 Beer Night promotion from a season ago. Domestic draft beers and hot dogs will each be a dollar at the game, as the Texans look to take down the Wildcats once again.
 
On Jan. 29, the Texans aim to White Out the Wolverines, and will be giving away white T-shirts to early arriving fans to elevate the environment.
 
On Jan. 31, Tarleton State hosts Military Appreciation, with a military themed giveaway.
 
On Feb. 19, the Texans will host Greek Night. Tarleton State's sororities and fraternities will pack the EECU Center and elevate the atmosphere further.
 
On Feb. 21 will be FFA Day, and then on March 5, the Texans will host their final regular season contest. Tarleton State will have a special invitation for senior citizens, in advance of celebrating the seniors on the court.
