WEEK AT A GLANCE: Texan Track & Field travels 11 student-athletes to 2025 NCAA West First Rounds

Texan Track & Field posted their best team finishes in program history at the WAC Outdoor Championships and looks to carry that success to the next step of the postseason.

TEXAN TRACK & FIELD collected 19 total medals at the WAC Outdoor Championships, including four individual gold medals and a relay gold medal. The Texans posted 29 new all-time event performance bests and set seven new school records. They also set three new WAC Championships meet records and a pair of new all-time WAC records. The Texans will be sending 11 student-athletes to compete at the 2025 NCAA West First Rounds in their first season eligible. The meet will be held at E.B. Day two of competition will switch to the women's side, as Prestina Ochonogor will compete in the long jump, Victoria Cameron will run the 100, and Lauren Roy and Amandine Estival will join Cameron in the 200. The men will see the field for the final time on Friday, as Gabriele Tosti and Sims compete in the triple jump. Saturday, Sofia DeGroot will be the final Texan to make their debut at the regional as she competes in the triple jump. The final event for the Texans will be the women's 4x100 meter relay, in which Hanna Dudley, Estival, Cameron and Roy will look to earn a top 12 spot to qualify for the NCAA National Championships. All 11 Texans look to secure their first bids to an NCAA Outdoor Track and Field Championships in Eugene, Oregon.
