Final Results
DALLAS - The Tarleton women's golf team finished in fifth place overall at the Dallas Baptist University Classic Tuesday.
With a score of 625, the TexAnns finished behind hosts Dallas Bapist (616), St. Edward's (617), Midwestern State (620) and just behind Lubbock Christian (624). Tarleton tied Grand Valley State, who also shot a 625. Sixteen teams competed in the event.
Katy Ward led the way for the TexAnns (149) and finished fourth in the individual standings.
Sharon Lau finished tied for 22nd (156), while
Sarah Fulfer tied for 32nd (159).
Aymara Villarroel tied for 43rd with a score of 162.
Jacqueline Lau, who did not finish the first round, shot an 80 on the second day.
Sarah Hoffman of Grand Valley St. was the overall individual winner and turned a score of 146.
The TexAnns' next competition will be the Cameron Invitational which begins on Oct. 23 at Ft. Sills Golf Club in Lawton, Okla.
