STEPHENVILLE, Texas — Tarleton State Women's Golf will compete in their regular season finale at the Georgia State Invitational on Monday and Tuesday at the Rivermont Golf Course in Johns Creek, Ga.

It marks the Texans second trip to the state of Georgia in the Division I era with the first coming earlier this fall at The Southern hosted by Georgia Southern. The regular season finale will be a two-day 54-hole event with a pair of rounds on Monday with a 7:30 a.m. CT shotgun start. Live scoring will be conducted by the players and available on Clippd. The Texans will be competing with five for the second-consecutive event. Louise Depadt will occupy the top slot, with Lou Deltombe as the Texans' No. 2. The duo is followed by Gina Chen and Natalia Fiel Ros. Darianys Guzman will occupy the fifth slot for the Purple and White. The Texans have posted two top three finishes this spring both coming when the Texans had five golfers in the lineup.

"Going into our last regular season event, we are very motivated to finish on a high," said head coach Isabel Jimenez. "This tournament is key to set some momentum towards our conference championship in just a few weeks. The team is excited and ready to put up a good performance this week."

Last time out, Depadt claimed her second individual title of the spring, and the fourth in her Texan career at the Riverbend Intercollegiate. She and Lou Deltombe posted top 20 performances, the third of the spring for Deltombe. The duo pushed the Texans to their second top three performance of the spring.

Depadt started off strongly with a five-under, 67, round. She ended the first round at the top of the leaderboard and never looked back. She posted a pair of even-par rounds in the final 36 holes to shoot 211 to win by three strokes. Depadt led the entire field with nine birdies over the 54 holes. The title marked her second of the spring after winning the opening event of the spring at the Texas State Invitational. Deltombe tied for 12th overall, with her third top 20 finish in the spring and her sixth on the season. She ended her fourth event of the spring with a five-over, 221.

The Texans will next be in action at the WAC Championship on April 20-22. The defending WAC Champions will play a round a day in the three-day event at The Clubs of Stonebridge Ranch in McKinney, TX. Louise Depadt will search to become a back-to-back individual champion, the first in the WAC since Idaho's Kayla Mortellaro at the 2011 and 2012 championships.
