LAST TIME OUT
Tarleton had its best road-shooting performance of the season as they shot 59 percent from the floor at Eastern New Mexico en route to an 89-64 victory over the Zias, snapping a four-game road losing skid. Tarleton got double-figure scoring efforts from all five starters and Raven McGrath off the bench with Shanae Lowrance (16) leading the way.

SERIES HISTORY
This will be meeting No. 41 in the 33-year history of the series, dating back to the inaugural meeting in 1981. Tarleton won the first four meetings of the all-time series before the series became an even battle from 1992-2005. Over that 13 year span, the TexAnns held a slim 13-10 advantage over the Lions with neither team ever winning more than three in a row over the other. In 2006, however, the Lions seized control of the series with six straight wins through 2008. Since the 2009 season, Tarleton has won seven in a row over Commerce, including one earlier this season in Stephenville.

TARLETON IN REGULAR SEASON FINALES
Since joining the NCAA in the 1994-95 season, Tarleton is 10-9 all-time in regular season finales and 5-5 in the final games of the regular season in Ronnie Hearne's 10 years as head coach. This will be the sixth time they have met Texas A&M-Commerce in the final game of the regular season and Tarleton is 3-2 when ending the regular season against the Lions.

GOING FOR 20
Tarleton has had just three 20-win seasons in its NCAA tenure - all of which coming under Ronnie Hearne from 2009-12.

LINEUP CHANGE PAYING OFF
After losing starting guard Morgan Ashmore to a season-ending knee injury, the TexAnns were in search of answers. Over the last three games, however, they have appeared to find one. In the last three games, since inserting Meagan O'Dell into the starting lineup and having Raven McGrath as the first guard off the bench, Tarleton is 3-0 and outscoring opponents by 14.7 points per game. Over that time, O'Dell is averaging 10.0 points while McGrath is averaging 11.7 off the bench for Tarleton to go along with the 17.3 from Kiara Wright, 10.3 from Brianna Bledsoe, 9.7 from Shanae Lowrance and 8.7 from Kathy Thomas, who moved into the point guard spot and dished out a career-high nine assists Saturday night.

WRIGHT'S DOUBLE-DOUBLE COUNT
Kiara Wright has 55 career double-doubles - 18 this season and 42 over the last two years. She is five shy of tying Jennifer Washington's all-time school record of 60 career double-doubles, which she accrued from 1981-85.

SCOUTING THE LIONS
After starting the season with high hopes, the early struggles by the Lions have made the rest of their season an uphill battle. Texas A&M-Commerce opened the season with seven straight losses and started LSC play with a 1-8 record. They played 11 straight LSC games before taking a one-game hiatus for a loss to South Dakota Mines. Over those first 11 LSC affairs, the Lions were just 3-8. Since their one-game conference break, however, they are 2-2 heading into today's game. They are led by Breanna Harris with 15.3 points and 10.0 rebounds per game. In conference play, Harris is averaging 14.4 points and 9.3 boards per game.

UP NEXT FOR TARLETON
Tarleton will travel to Allen to take part in the Lone Star Conference Championship Tournament where the winner will receive an automatic berth in the NCAA Regional Tournament.
