LAST TIME OUT
Led by a monster effort from All-American senior Kiara Wright, Tarleton State beat rival Midwestern State 78-75 in an overtime classic Wednesday night in front of a capacity crowd in Wisdom Gym. Wright led the way with 35 points and 21 rebounds as Tarleton ended the game down two starters due to fouls.

SERIES HISTORY
The TexAnns and Aggies have met 24 times since the inaugural meeting in 1994, when the teams began playing annually as members of the Lone Star Conference. The TexAnns won five of the first seven meetings before the Aggies went on their biggest run of the series - winning the next six games from 2001-2005. Since February 26, 2005, however, Tarleton has dominated - taking eight of the last 11. With the exception of the 6-0 run earlier this century, Cameron has never won three straight in the series.

RE-WRIGHT-ING THE RECORD BOOKS
Kiara Wright has ripped up the Tarleton State record books during her illustrious career. In addition to her numerous accolades, the All-American senior has placed herself among the all-time great TexAnn basketball players. With 15 rebounds against Midwestern State on Jan. 15, she became the first player in school history and first in Tarleton's NCAA era to score over 1,000 career points and grab 1,000 career rebounds - joining only Kathy Buckler and Jennifer Washington. With her 35-point effort against Midwestern State on February 5, she blew past Dianna May for fifth place on the all-time scoring list with 1,497 in her career. She now has her sights set on passing her former teammate, Shelby Adamson, for fourth all-time and the title of Tarleton's all-time leading scorer in the NCAA era. She is already the school's all-time leading rebounder in the NCAA era and trails only Jennifer Washington as the school's all-time leader.

70 IS THE MAGIC NUMBER
Tarleton State's offense this season has been black-or-white, hot-or-cold and nothing with not much in the way of middle ground. In games where Tarleton has scored 70 or more points, they are 15-0  but when scoring less than 70 they are 1-4 with the only win coming against MSU.

STEPPING UP IN THE CLUTCH
After losing two starters to fouls Wednesday night, Tarleton turned to the bench and was rewarded by two clutch free throws by Meagan O'Dell in the waning seconds of overtime to clinch the victory.

SCOUTING THE AGGIES
After beginning the season with an 8-2 record prior to non-conference play, the Aggies have struggled  to finish off games against LSC foes - going 1-9 in conference. They are currently the only team on the outside-looking-in at the Lone Star Conference Championship Tournament field. Since LSC play began, the Aggies are last in the conference in assists, steals and offensive rebounds and the only category in which they are in the top 3 in the LSC are 3-point percentage, 3-point defense and 3-pointers made.

UP NEXT FOR TARLETON
