THE GAME
Tarleton State and Cameron meet with playoff seeding on the line as the TexAnns look to defend Wisdom Gym in a Saturday night meeting with the Aggies at 5 p.m.
THE BROADCAST
The game will have a live radio broadcast presented by the Tarleton Sports Network presented by North Texas Ford Dealers. The Voice of the TexAnns, Keltin Wiens, will serve as the play-by-play for Tarleton basketball this season. The radio broadcast can be heard on KTRL 90.5 FM in Stephenville and surrounding areas or online at TarletonSports.com/ListenLive. The pregame show will begin 15 minutes prior to tip-off.
THE SERIES
This rivalry is a relatively new one between the TexAnns and Aggies, dating back to Tarleton's final season as an NAIA competitor. In a back- and-forth series, Tarleton State dominated from 2006-2013 by winning seven straight over the Aggies including an 89-50 win in Stephenville in 2013. The Aggies have managed to win the last four in the series, including the earlier season meeting this year, to bring the all-time record to 13-13. Tarleton has won six out of 12 meetings in Stephenville.
THE OPPONENT
After a rough 1-6 start to the season, Cameron has turned things around since pulling out an 82-81 win at Southeastern Oklahoma on December 15. That victory turned the season around for the Aggies as it marked the first of 10 wins over the next 12 games, including a win over Tarleton in Lawton on Jan. 17. The 11 wins for Cameron thus far have almost matched the total wins for the Aggies in the last two years (18).
BOUNCING BACK WITH A VENGEANCE
Wednesday's loss to Midwestern State marked just the third loss in the last five years by 15 or more points to a Lone Star Conference team. In the last two instances, the TexAnns have followed up by taking it out on their nest opponents. After losing by 16 to ACU in Feb. 2013, the TexAnns bounced back to hand Texas A&M-Kingsville a 78-63 loss at the Steinke Center. Last season after losing by 22, Tarleton returned home to Wisdom Gym to thump Eastern New Mexico 89-71.
TARLETON IN THE LSC
Tarleton State has developed into one of the premier basketball programs in the nation, as well as within the Lone Star Conference. The TexAnns earned their first league championship in 2012 and reached the finals of the LSC Championship Tournament for the second time in three years last season. Since joining the LSC as an NCAA institution in 1994, the TexAnns have a record of 168-142 against conference foes, including five seasons - four consecutive - of over 10 conference wins.

TOPS IN THE NATION
Tarleton State ranks among the nations best in multiple statistical categories, including:
• No. 22 in FT percentage (.766)
• No. 33 in 3-point percentage (.363)
