THE BROADCASTThe game will have a live radio broadcast presented by the Tarleton Sports Network presented by North Texas Ford Dealers. The Voice of the TexAnns, Keltin Wiens, will serve as the play-by-play this season. LAST TIME OUTTarleton avenged its home loss to Cameron and defeated the Aggies 73-61 in Lawton, Oklahoma on Saturday with
Bailey Wipff leading all TexAnns with 18 points.

THE OPPONENT: ANGELO STATEAngelo State comines in with a 15-5 record overall and second in the Lone Star Conference with an 8-2 league mark. The Rambelles have won five straight games and seven straight in the Junell Center to improve to 11-1 at home. ASU has three players averaging double figures and is led by Taylor Dorsey's LSC-leading 17.3 points per game.

THE SERIES: ANGELO STATESaturday marks the 50
th meeting with Angelo State in the modern era of TexAnn basketball with Tarleton leading the all-time series 28-21 since they first met in 1976. Tarleton has won five straight against ASU and two straight on the road. Tarleton is 10-15 all-time at Angelo State.Â

WINNING STREAKTarleton is aiming for its fourth straight Lone Star Conference win, which would be its longest conference winning streak since January 2014 when the TexAnns won four in a row. During the winning streak, the TexAnns have climbed from seventh in the LSC standings to a three-way tie for fourth place.

DIFFERENCE IS ON DEFENSEThe TexAnns limited Cameron to 61 points in Saturday's 12-point win for their second straight double-digit win. In Tarleton's six LSC wins, the TexAnns have held opponents to an average of 57.5 points. In their five LSC losses, Tarleton is allowing opponents to score 70 points per game.

DOING WORK FROM DOWNTOWNEntering Saturday's game,
Bailey Wipff has 52 3-pointers on the season, becoming the 12th TexAnn in school history to connect on 50 triples in a single season and the first since Brianna Bledsoe (51) in 2013-14. Wipff is tied with Katie Crawford for 10
th on the single season list and needs four 3-pointers to move past Shea Kester and Jenn Doroga for 8
th all time. Wipff is also shooting 41.6 percent from behind the arc this season, which ranks 12
th all time.

PUT THEM AT THE FREE-THROW LINEBailey Wipff and
Morgan Ashmore are almost automatic from the free-throw line this season and both currently ranked in the top 10 in single-season history. Wipff is shooting 86.7 percent (52-of-60), ranking sixth in TexAnn history. Ashmore is right behind at 85.4 percent (41-of-48), good for seventh all time. Peyton Adamson holds the top two spots at 90 and 92 percent.
